Comfort Candles™, Inc. was founded in 1998 by two sisters who shared a dream and vision for making a significant contribution in the world. Continuing a long family history of service, Dr. Katherine Walsh-Burke and her sister Shirley Walsh Suter created Memorial Candles™ designed to help people dealing with grief and Comfort Candle gift packages for people facing other challenges of body, mind and spirit.
